Longer Secondary Rehab Treatment For Extra Support
After completion of primary drug or alcohol rehab, it is recommended that you strongly consider engaging in our secondary treatment programme. As a step-down stage of addiction treatment after residential rehab, it provides continued structure and support before full independence.
The Perry Clayman Project is one of the only services in the UK to offer up to 3 months extended rehab treatment, in the form of our secondary care programme available at all of our residential clinics.
The secondary treatment programme bridges the gap between primary rehab and independent living, providing gradual reintegration into everyday life. This structured support helps reduce the risk of relapse and supports clients to regain control during early recovery.
Proven and Effective Treatment
Our secondary treatment programme offers additional freedom and treatments that will further enhance your recovery from alcohol or drug addiction while also supporting your mental health.
We don’t believe in just getting our clients clean from alcohol or drugs or addressing substance misuse, but also in providing life skills and further personal development. With this treatment approach, a new life can be built that is far removed from the old life of active addiction, with structured support for emotional healing that also strengthens emotional wellbeing and independence.
Using proven and effective treatments, secondary treatment will enable you to rebuild your confidence, undergo further therapy and explore your options through approaches such as CBT, dialectical behavioural therapy, and group counselling. Holistic therapies, including mindfulness and art therapy, can also support psychological healing in secondary rehabilitation. This mix of therapeutic and ongoing support helps build coping strategies for long term recovery.
