Phill Pawsey

Phil brings lived experience and deep compassion to his role at PCP, having battled a gambling addiction and other co-occurring issues for nearly 20 years. In 2018, he reached a turning point and recognised he was powerless over his addiction. That same year, he turned to faith for healing and was baptised, marking the beginning of a transformative journey.

By 2020, Phil felt a strong conviction that he could no longer remain in a career that lacked meaning and purpose. Guided by his relationship with God, he pursued work that aligned with his values—supporting others in mental health services, prison settings, and through delivering the 12-step program.

Now at PCP, Phil believes he has found his true calling: helping others break free from the grip of addiction and supporting them on their path to recovery.
